SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently viewing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies for the community.

SASSA will likely be rendering expert services for example new social grant applications, change of payment method, client care enquiries, as well as the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a press release, the agency mentioned it truly is alarmed about the large amount of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The intention from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a substantial variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no entirely functional office committed to service the area on a regular basis. The company place designed for intervention encounters a large influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it tricky to the office to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise additional website assets to enable the servicing of all buyers and boost access to Social Assistance solutions,” the agency said.
